I watched this film yesterday for the 6th time and incidentally, someone requested for these songs today :)
So I was more than happy to add these songs to my blog. Lakshya, a very inspiring movie. Everytime I watch it, I feel like joining the army.
The film was released in 2004, starring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. And, it was directed by Farhan Akhtar.

The music has been composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The title track is very inspiring and my favourite. :)

IMDB rating of 8.4/10, I think that figure says it all for the film. I don't need to add any spice to it. :)
This is a very special film for me, as it reminds me of my country. In a way, it reflects my own life. I wish I can visit India soon...
Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera..... really touches my soul every time I listen to it.

Murder is a thriller directed by Anurag Basu. This film stars Mallika Sherawat, as a married woman who gets caught up with another man (Emraan Hashmi), and when the other man is murdered, she is wrongfully accused, though its actually the husband that has killed him. The touching music is composed by Anu Malik. I like all the songs and particularly the instrumentals.

Main Hoon Na featuring Gauri Khan and Shahrukh Khan is directed by Farah Khan. Hrithik Roshan was signed for the role of Lakshman, and even shot for a day. But after the success of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Farah Khan did not want an actor so popular. (She did not think this at the time of appointing??). The songs are good and Anu Malik got his 2nd Filmfare award for this movie after the one for Baazigar in 1993.

Hum Tum is a movie directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra. The movie stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles. It was released in 2004.

Dhoom is a Bollywood film, directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and released in 2004. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Uday Chopra, Rimi Sen and Esha Deol in the main roles. Its sequel, Dhoom 2, was released in 2006 in India.


The music is composed by Pritam and the lyrics is from Sameer. The title track, "Dhoom Dhoom", was released in a remixed version song by the Thai-American singer Tata Young.

Veer-Zaara was released in 2004 and was directed by Yash Chopra. The movie starsShahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji in the leading roles, with Kirron Kher, Divya Dutta and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini make special appearances in the film. The dialogues were written by Aditya Chopra.
The music of the film, based on old compositions by the late Madan Mohan with lyrics byJaved Akhtar, is stunning. The famous playback singer Lata Mangeshkar sang most of the songs. She used to sing with Madan Mohan, so there was a special poignancy to her contributions.
